About Us

The Bailey Family

Welcome to Baileys Real Food.  We're a family business, the business is our family, it's what we do and how we live and where we're going!

We produce and sell a range of healthy-eating foods – and we are passionate about promoting real food, health, and happiness!

We know that it is possible to make really tasty food that's good for you too and that there are lots of people out there who really want it!  So, we’ve made it our mission: to sell real food that can make you healthy, give service to make you happy and enrich the lives of others in a fun way!

What is ‘real food’?

We love real food...

Well for us this is the important bit. When our family arrived (no mean feat as we’d been told we couldn’t have children) we wanted to feed them the healthy, fresh, local, organic, unprocessed and honest diet that had resulted in their arrival. At home this is fine but out and about we struggled to find snacks that weren’t full of sugar, fat or unrecognisable additives. So, Dad, the professional chef, created the Jackson Bar!

The Jackson Bar

Today, all our products, packed with real and healthy ingredients like seeds, nuts, fruits & British oats, are still handmade in small batches and naturally sweetened using honey, fruit juice or brown rice syrup (which means that the energy is delivered over time - so no sugar rush) and using NO refined sugar.  (See Nutritional Information).

There is no added anything in our products - no additives, no preservatives, no extra fancy packaging, no packers, fillers or product enhancers! Plus, all our products are wheat-free, refined sugar-free and contain no transfats.

LESS sugar, NO wheat and NO trans-fats!

Where can I find Baileys Real Food?

Why buy from Baileys...

It's all about the kids...

1.     Real people, real food...

It’s our passion and our family. You’ll probably talk to one of us, we’re not a call centre or a factory, it may be the chef – who sometimes packs the boxes too!  Ask us questions – if we don’t know the answer we’ll find it out. At Bailey’s we love – and eat – the food we sell.

2.     If we don’t have what you want…

We keep relatively small stocks of food items to keep your order as fresh as possible. If we don’t have stock we’ll tell you and let you know when you’ll get it – hey that’s like getting your food baked to order! If it’s something you’d like us to consider making tell us too – we love your ideas!

3.     Our guarantees…

We work hard to source ingredients with provenance that are produced ethically and environmentally and traded fairly.  We will always look to reduce the amount of non-nutritional (empty calories) and cheaper filler products in favour of more nutritional alternatives without compromising on taste.  We aim to limit the contact our products have with machines and the amount of processes they go through.  We actively seek to reduce unnecessary printing and packaging and encourage recycling wherever we can.  We work with partners to ensure that your get your delivery when you expect it.

4.     Gifts for everyone…

Whether it’s a business gift, a thank you or a surprise, a gift from Bailey’s Real Food is sure to delight. We help you through the process and make sure that everyone is wowed! You can contact us at Baileys and hand select from our range or create your own Baileys Herefordshire Food Parcel.

5.     It’s all about the kids...

We set up our business to share our passion for real food, health and happiness and also to create a living for our family in our adopted home of Herefordshire. We relish in the local, fresh produce, the seasons and good home cooking.  As parents we recognise our responsibility to educate our children, in the broadest sense.  This responsibility extends, as business owners, to the wider community.  As such, our education programme and workshops for schools, clubs and interested organisations, still in it’s infancy, aims to bring experience, understanding, interest and participation in real food, health and happiness!
