We're nut's on health!

That was the title of a recent headline in the Daily Express on 21 October. Apparently, as a nation, we're shunning crisps and chocolate in favour of nuts seeds and dried fruit. According to Mintel, specialists in telling us what we do, nearly half the population - many over 45's - now buy nuts as an alternative to crisps as they are packed with omega-6 for brain boosting, the other half go for dried fruits instead of sweets. "Consumers now want a nutritious snack." they told the paper.
Well hallelujah! We're delighted that the message is getting out to a wider audience. Oh and look no further for a nutritious snack - The Jackson Bar fits the bill perfectly. Loaded with seeds, nuts, fruit, British oats and honey and brown rice syrup to sweeten.
NO wheat, NO dairy, NO transfats.
But more on that later!
